Modhi Vilayadu Audio Launch

The audio of director Saran’s upcoming film Modhi Vilayadu was launched on April 28th. Keeping in line with the trend of innovative audio launches, Modhi Vilayadu’s audio was launched by media personnel! After the media people launched the film’s audio, the first audio CD was presented to director Myshkin by eminent journalist-writer Devimani.

Eminent guests for the evening included lyricist Vairamutu (who has also written the film’s lyrics), Yugi Sethu, Myshkin, Ameer, Askoh ( Sony Music) and film’s dialogue writer Ramakrishnan. Everyone wished Saran and his crew the best of luck.

When four songs from the film were screened, a stunned audience appreciated the music directors Colonial Cousins – Leslie Lewis and Hariharan – for their deep understanding of the local flavour and the freshness in their tunes.

Modhi Vilayadu is a wonderful action entertainer from director Saran and Mediaone Global Entertainment Limited and Gemini Industries & Imaging Pvt Ltd.

This audio launch by media people will be a notable event in the yearbook 2009.

Kanja Karuppu clap starts Gangu

Upcoming hero Ramana’s next film Gangu – produced by S.V.T. Pictures and directed by N. Chandramohan – was launched on April 26th in A.V.M. Pillayar Koil. Comedian and character artist Kanja Karuppu clap started the movie.

The film stars Ramana and Samrutha in the lead with Kanja Karuppu playing the supporting role. S.V. Thangam, the producer of the film, also plays the villain in this film. Music is by Roopesh Ram and cinematography is by Vijay Krishna.

The film’s lead pair and crew were present at the pooja at A.V.M. Pillayar Koil.

Gniabagangal is a musical bonanza – Pa. Vijay

At the press meet to discuss about his film Gniabagangal, Pa. Vijay announced that his film will stand out as a beautiful love story and a musical bonanza. Declaring that his film and its songs will be counted among the best of 2009, Vijay announced that he is releasing the film on May 15th. He also added that he did not care which movie released on the same day and the competition it posed, as he was quite confident of Gniabagangal’s good run.

Written and produced by Pa. Vijay – the ace lyricist of Kollywood – Gniabagangal is a pleasant love story. Its audio, which was launched recently, has become a massive hit. Pa. Vijay’s lyrics and music director Jamesvic’ fresh tunes have ensnared the listeners.

Speaking about the music director Jamesvic, Vijay said that he was very much impressed by his musical talent after a discussion to do a musical album. Impressed and confident, Pa. Vijay decided to hand over the reins of music department of his upcoming film to Jamesvic.

Pa. Vijay also stated that he has started a literary association called Kavignar Iyakkam, which, apart from finding new talent, will also do social service. At present, the literary organization is involved in promoting the movie, by giving 1 lakh free audio CDs to public and explaining them the salient features of the movie.

Director Jeevan said that the film is very different in every aspect and will bring back the good old days when the onscreen romance of the hero and heroine was limited to only holding hands! He further added that such a romance was required by the script and expressed his confidence that the audience will love it just as they loved Kadhalukku Mariyathai.
