Movie launch and a marriage

You might be wondering what a movie launch has to do with a marriage. But your surprise is going to cross bounds when we say journalist-turned-director Chinnappa Ganesan will clap start his film Anmai Kaalam right after he ties the nuptial knot with Ms. Mythili, a Sri Lankan refugee.

Chinnappa Ganesan’s interest in films saw him give up his lucrative career in journalism (he worked for Malai Malar and AMN TV News Section) and struggle in cine field. Highly ambitious, Ganesh vowed that he will marry only when he gets a chance to direct a film! After years of struggle, he realized his long-cherished dream; he will direct upcoming Ganapathi Kalaikkoodam’s Anmai Kaalam. A noble man with views and ideas that transcend his time, Chinnappa Ganesh decided to marry someone from Sri Lankan refugees, who come to Tamil Nadu with hope of finding new lease of life.

On April 20th, Chinnapa Ganesh will get married as well as launch his directorial venture Anmai Kaalam. Chennai365.com wishes him all the best.
