Vaaliban Suttrum Ulagam’s audio launch took place lastweek, where S.P. Muthurman handed over the first audio CD to TMS. V.T. Guganathan was also present at the audio launch. As yet another rarity associated with this film, 20 MGR fan clubs in Malaysia released the audio lastweek simultaneously!
MGR might have passed away, but his legacy and fame will live on forever. This Sri Jaisakthi Creations’ film is not only having an MGR film’s title, but it also has the magic of an MGR film. Yes, the film has a story that has an aura of an MGR film; the story goes like this: a doctor invents a cure-all medicine with the help of a famed pharmacy company owner; when he decides to sell the formula to Indian Government, the greedy pharmacy mogul kills the doctor and escapes with the formula; the film’s hero pursues the killer and hands over the formula to Indian Government as per the dead doctor’s wishes!
The uniqueness does not stop with that! There is one more rarity – this film brings MSV, TMS and P. Suseela together after a huge gap! With a story that is so typical of MGR movies, a music director and playback singers from the MGR era, the film will prove to be a delight for MGR fans.
